Nove Colli Cesenatico: for those who love cycling

It was 1965 when a small group of friends, united by their passion for cycling, founded the cycling group "Fausto Coppi".

On May 20th, 1971, at 5 a.m., 17 pioneers set off for the very first start of the Nove Colli, one of the most famous cycling events in Europe. The meeting point and start was the Bar del Corso in Cesenatico, the same bar where the idea had originated a few years earlier.

After 55 years, those 17 pioneers have grown into 12,000 athletes ready to tackle challenging climbs, crossing breathtaking coastal and hilly landscapes.

Cycling enthusiasts can choose from the three routes offered by the Nove Colli:

• Long route
• Medium route
• Gravel route

In 2026, the Nove Colli will take place on May 24th.

Registration opens on November 5th, 2025 and closes on May 15th, 2026.
